The National Community Pharmacy Association (NCPA) knows it would have more fighting power if it had an army of independent pharmacists and their customers behind it.
So NCPA recently launched Fight4Rx.org, a web based organization it hopes will recruit 1,000 independent pharmacies and their customers. The site includes briefs on pharmacy patient issues, Medicare and healthcare news updates, and a video blog. The information will be used to keep patients informed about legal issues and news affecting independent pharmacies.
